Restoran Warisan, Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan

Assalamualaikum sume!!! 

I have a wedding invitation last saturday (27 April 2013), a friend of mine punya adik kahwin in Bandar Seri Jempol. Oleh kerana ada tempahan last minute cheese tart yang perlu dihantar pada malamnya for a birthday party, so our initial plan delay. Keluar umah around 1.30pm.. adoiiiii aiiiii...... (dalam hati memang dah berkata-kata ntah sempat ke tidak nk sampai umah pengantin nih)

And you should know la kan... memang tak sempat!! Around 2.45pm - 3.00 pm baru sampai Kuala Pilah and to reach Bandar Seri Jempol will take another 2 to 3 hours!! So, sadly we decided not to go to the wedding (halfway) after realising we can't never reach the pengantin house b4 4.30 pm (the kenduri was until 4.30pm)... 

We encounter this beautiful restaurant just across the main 'pintu gerbang' to Istana Seri Menanti. It is sorrunded by padi field and looking beautiful!!! So, we decided to drop by there to fill our stomach. 

The Ambiance

Air jando pulang ni actually air kelapa muda yang dicampur gula enau (negeri sembilan famous for their gula enau).. Tapi kenapa air ni dinamakan air jando pulang?? Katanya air ini telah dibuat oleh seorang janda yang baru pulang dari menoreh getah..hehe..

Overall, the food was O.K jer... not superb la(my sis kata hati dia tak tertawan!! haha...) Price wise, consider mahal coz we paid RM120++ for what we ate.. (the fish was RM78- i think mahal with the quality and taste of the fish)

I have a dream to open up my own restaurant 1 day, so one thing yang i will do is to brief my staff about the food. This is because, when i eat out, i always get the answer "TAK TAHU LA" whenever i tanya anything about the food... (waiter yang serve us, cakap tak tahu when we ask, ape tu masak keng som peksak). I mean like seriously?? This is 1 factor yang restoran melayu kurang titik beratkan.
