Nutella Tart

I absolutely adore Nutella... (sgt sedap ye).. tak kisah la whether on toast, with puff pastry or with Jacob Crackers. (In fact i'm eating my nutella with Jacob Crackers). I guess evIeryone knows Nutella is made of hazelnut. Kacang hazelnut ni banyak manfaat pada kesihatan kita. Antaranya : -

1. Kandungan linoleic acid yang terdapat dalam kacang ni mambantu menurunkan LDL (bad cholesterol) dan menambah HDL (good cholesterol)

2. Hazelnut kaya dengan dietry fiber, vitamin dan mineral yang dapat protect from diseases and cancers. 


I've made nutella tart and this is the recipe. 

Ingredients : 

For the crust 

1 1/4 cup     Digestive Cookies (crush)
8 tbsp         Melted Butter


For the filling 

1/2 cup      White Sugar (can adjust according to your liking) 
1/2 cup      Whipping Cream 
375 gram    Cream Cheese 
1/2 cup      Nutella 
1 tsp          Vanilla Extract / Essence

Methods : 

1. Mix together digestive cookies and melted butter. 

2. Put in the tart pan, and bake in the oven at 175 degrees for 10 minutes and chill in the fridge around 20-30 minutes before put in the filling. (It's important to let your crust chill completely to avoid the tart shell from cracking)

3. Simply combine all the ingredients for the filling and whip until smooth and combine. 

4. Leave the tart to set in the fridge for at least 1 hour before you can have a slice of this rich and creamy goodness!! 

5. You can garnish it with some choc ganache, hazelnut or just like me, with strawberries.
